We sell our table scrubbing brushes unvarnished, as water and varnish don’t mix well on a brush. After a time the rushes will become stained with water damage. Once a week if you dunk the wooden part of the brush in watered down bleach or Milton Sterilizing fluid, and leave to dry naturally, the darkness will be bleached.
